Advance Prep

Complete the Nan Chiau High School Prelim Two 2014 Paper 2 (the paper was given out as part of the Jun holidays practice package) and mark your work using the answer scheme found here. After you have marked your work, complete the survey found here by Tue 19 Jul. Lessons on Friday will be based on your response to the survey.

Continue with paragraph writing exercise from this week. Please bring along your laptops

Tue

Complete the handout on Writer's Craft handed out on Thursday and bring it to class. 

Wed

Situational Writing timed practice. Bring your own writing paper and ensure that you have a margin of about 2cm both the right hand side and left hand side of every page you write on.

Announcements

1) Some of you gave me the feedback that the Commonwealth Prelim 2014 Paper 2 answers can't be viewed. It has been fixed. You should be able to view the file now. 

2) Answers to the SST Prelim editing practice can be found here. 

3) If you missed my lesson on the arc of the argument in Sem 1 or you have totally forgotten about it, you may sign up for the enrichment workshop. Please check your notes first and see if you really need to come. Don't waste your time as the materials will be repeated.
