Preparation for Term 2 Week 5

1) Complete the self-directed learning slides found here before Monday. There is a quiz at the end you need to complete. 

2) Sign up for Coogle (found here) using your gmail account.

3) Using the brainstorming skills you have been taught earlier in the year, analyse the following questions and come up with detailed essay plans. Bring your preparation to class on Monday.
(a) Some people say that the Internet does more harm than good. What is your view? (Cam 2010)
(b) Parents often believe it is better to be safe than sorry. Do you consider young people to be too protected? (Cam 2013)
(c) Discuss the importance of values in society today.
(d) Is it important to always be the first?

For lessons next week, each group needs to have at least one laptop that can connect to the school's wireless network for every lesson.

Schedule for Term 2 Week 3

Preparation for Lessons
Please be familiar with all the materials handed out during the lecture on oral in Term 1 Week 10. You are required to bring your grading rubrics for oral as well as all the question papers to class. Come prepared with all the mindmaps for the practices handed out, but were not used during the lecture.
